🧹 Decluttering our stories

At the end of the year, I like to declutter my home to clear space for what’s to come in the new year.

Maybe I originally bought something, like allergy medicine, or socks, to serve me. And it did for a while. But if it’s not serving me anymore, it’s a liability. And it’s gotta go.

The same goes for editing. We create words, images, or slides to serve our story. But sometimes the purpose of that content was just to help us understand our story. To get us where we are now. And once we understand our story, we may realize that those same words, images, and slides are no longer serving us. They’re liabilities, and they’ve gotta go, too.
